Week 5 of the NFL season is upon us, and while we’re starting to get an idea of who’s a contender and who’s a pretender, there are still a ton of questions to be answered. Was starting Dillion Gabriel the right choice for the Browns? Is the Colts’ run over? Will the Titans fire their head coach?

Watch What’s Trending Now!

Today, we’re going game-by-game and giving one big question for every single NFL game in Week 5.

Vikings at Browns (London)

Will Dillon Gabriel silence the Shedeur Sanders crowd?

With Joe Flacco out, the Browns were forced to make a decision: do they start Dillon Gabriel or Shedeur Sanders? They didn’t take long to make their choice, announcing Gabriel as the starter pretty early in the week. This caused a split reaction from NFL fans, with many claiming Sanders is the better quarterback. Will Gabriel prove them wrong? Or will the Sanders crowd be louder than ever after this weekend?

Raiders at Colts

Is the Colts’ run over?

Nobody had super high expectations for the Colts at the beginning of the season, but Daniel Jones and Co. quickly quieted the doubters after a 3-0 start. But after suffering their first loss of the season last weekend, is the Colts’ run over? When you look back at their first three games, they beat the Titans and Dolphins, who are no good, and an underperforming Broncos team because of a suspect call. Now that they’ve lost, have they lost their momentum? Or can they get it back with a win over the Raiders?

Giants at Saints

Can Jaxson Dart do it again?

While Jaxson Dart didn’t light up the stat sheet in his NFL debut, he played pretty well. He totaled 165 yards and two touchdowns, which included a big rushing score on his first-ever drive. He helped the Giants score 21 points, which was just enough to edge out the Chargers.

It will take a similar performance to beat the Saints, so can he do it again? Or will the Saints defense get the best of him?

Cowboys at Jets

Can either defense get a stop?

The Cowboys and Jets have two of the worst defenses in the NFL, and a couple of pretty solid offenses. The Cowboys are scoring over 28 points per game, and when Justin Fields is in starting, the Jets are averaging 26.5 points. While some believe this will be a runaway victory for the Cowboys, I’m not so sure. I think the Jets offense will be able to keep up with the Cowboys, and it’ll all come down to who can get a stop late in the game.

Broncos at Eagles

Do the Eagles finally get A.J. Brown involved?

While the Eagles are 4-0 this season, all the talk has been about A.J. Brown. Their star receiver has been very vocal about the lack of targets he’s been receiving, and if things keep going this way, he could be on his way out of Philadelphia sooner than later. Will the Eagles finally be able to get Brown involved against the Broncos? Or will it be another frustrating game for the Ole Miss product?

Dolphins at Panthers

What does Miami’s offense look like without Tyreek Hill?

Despite having one of the best offensive minds in the NFL at head coach, the Dolphins‘ offense has not looked all that good this year. They’re averaging around 20 points per game, Tua Tagovailoa is averaging less than 200 yards per game, and now they’ve lost their top receiver.

With Tyreek Hill out, how will the offense be impacted? Will Jaylen Waddle and Malik Washington be able to step up? Or will their offense take another step backwards?

Texans at Ravens

Do the Ravens have enough players to finish this game?

The Ravens will be without their star quarterback, Lamar Jackson, this weekend, but they’ve also ruled a slew of other players out. Chidobe Awuzie, Marlon Humphrey, Emery Jones Jr., Patrick Ricard, and Roquan Smith are all out, and Kyle Hamilton, Odafe Oweh, Ronnie Staley, and Devontez Walker are questionable. The Ravens are going to be without a ton of key players, so if the Texans can’t take advantage, it’ll be time to have some uncomfortable conversations about C.J. Stroud and DeMeco Ryans.

Titans at Cardinals

Does Brian Callahan even make it to the plane after the game?

The Titans are 0-4 and have looked abysmal this season. Their offense is the worst in the league, and while the defense has flashed at times, they haven’t been able to be consistent throughout the course of a game. The Cardinals should have no trouble winning this game, and Brian Callahan’s seat is already red hot. Could a loss to Arizona be the final straw?

Buccaneers at Seahawks

Can Baker Mayfield’s arm carry the Buccaneers to victory?

The Buccaneers are pretty banged up offensively right now. Bucky Irving and Mike Evans are out, and Chris Godwin is back, but still isn’t 100-percent. That leaves Baker Mayfield and rookie wideout Emeka Egbuka to lead the way against a very talented Seahawks defense.

Is Mayfield capable of leading a young, relatively inexperienced receiving core to victory? Or will Seattle’s defense shut them down?

Lions at Bengals

Is the 10.5-point spread big enough?

Ever since their season-opening loss to the Packers, the Lions have been on a heater. They’re winners of their last three and are averaging well over 30 points per game over that span. On the flip side, the Bengals have looked horrible without Joe Burrow under center, and now they have to host the red-hot Lions, who are favored by 10.5 points. Is that spread big enough? It’s the NFL, and both teams are talented, but with the way these two have been playing, the Lions could easily win this game by 21+.

Commanders at Chargers

Will we get a repeat of Jayden Daniels and Justin Herbert’s college matchup?

The last time Jayden Daniels and Justin Herbert faced off, it came back in 2019 when Herbert was with Oregon and Daniels was with Arizona State. We were treated to a show that November night, with those two combining for 712 passing yards, five passing touchdowns, and 59 points. Will we see another high-scoring affair in their first NFL showdown? I hope so.

Patriots at Bills

Can Drake Maye do the impossible?

The Patriots beat the Bills in Week 18 of the regular season a year ago, but the Bills were resting their starters for the playoffs. This time around, both teams will be fully stocked, and while the Bills are favored by 8.5 points, the Patriots should give them a good fight. Drake Maye has flashed at times this year, and if he has another good game, is it possible he could topple Josh Allen and the Bills?

Allen has won five of his last six against the Patriots, but he better make sure he brings his A game this week, because this could be a trap.

Chiefs at Jaguars

What does the Chiefs’ backfield look like?

The Chiefs have two veteran running backs in Isaiah Pacheco and Kareem Hunt, but neither of them have been particularly special this season. After getting a career-high in touches last week, Chiefs seventh-round rookie Brashard Smith could continue to be more involved in the offense as they try to get their running game going. It will be interesting to see how they divvy up the work. Will Hunt and Pacheco continue to dominate the touches? Or will the Chiefs get Smith and his 4.39 speed much more involved?
