The Green Bay Packers have opened the 2025 season on fire. They beat the Lions 27-13 and the Commanders 27-18 to start 2-0 for the first time since 2020 (the same season in which they reached the NFC championship game). It is the kind of start that injects swagger into a locker room, and LT Rasheed Walker made sure to say it out loud. He confidently declared that the Packers “can go undefeated.” That statement sent fans buzzing and put the national media on notice. Normally, comments like those bring pushback from opponents or even teammates who prefer a quieter approach. But Cowboys superstar pass rusher Micah Parsons did not just support Walker; he, in fact, endorsed his mindset.

To the people, he probably shouldn’t say it to the people,” Parsons admitted. “But I don’t think, I personally don’t see anything wrong with what he said. They always say you should share your dreams in private because people won’t understand them.” Parsons made it clear that his stance is not about the words themselves; it is about the performance behind them.

As long as he plays the way he should play and been playing I don’t care what he says as long as he backs it up,” Parsons said. “We should win every game. That’s the mindset you should have. That’s the mindset I want my left tackle to have.” And the numbers show that Walker has been doing exactly that.

Through two games, Walker has posted a 68.4 overall grade from Pro Football Focus, ranking 24th among 94 qualifying tackles. His 71.2 pass blocking grade has helped the Packers’ offensive line keep Jordan Love upright, with zero sacks allowed. His 62.7 run-blocking grade has been solid as well, creating lanes for Green Bay’s rushing attack.

Simply put, Walker is playing like someone who can make good on Matt LaFleur’s team, the coach, who has a lot of pressure this season. Parsons believes that kind of confidence is contagious and necessary. “You should want your left tackle to have that type of confidence,” Parsons added. So, this is not reckless talk. It is the voice of a player performing at a high level and setting the tone for an undefeated mindset.

And with the Packers off to their hottest start in years, Walker’s statement and Parsons’ public backing might just be the spark that keeps Green Bay rolling. However, along wth this, the star defensive end is also sharing a message for the Cleveland Browns‘ star DE.

Micah Parsons’ big praise for Myles Garrett

Cowboys pass rusher Micah Parsons has nothing but respect for Browns superstar Myles Garrett. And his admiration is based on both performance and leadership. The two have connected this offseason, when Parsons ended up being a man of his word and signed a four-year deal with Green Bay that averages $47 million. Per Garrett, Parsons texted him, “talking about, ‘Did I do right?’ And I was like, ‘Nah, you did perfect.’” So, he was “just glad to see him get what he’s earned, and he’s worth every dollar.”

Even Parsons described Garrett as “a big brother, a big friend outside of football,” showing that their bond goes beyond the field. He pointed out that Garrett’s combination of dominance and mentorship sets him apart. “Competing and understanding what he’s done for the game of football and how he’s came in and dominated but then also offering fellowship and mentorship, I think that’s what separates the good and the great,” Parsons said. And the numbers back up Parsons’ praise.

Garrett has already tallied 3.5 sacks in the first two games of the 2025 season with Carl Granderson (Saints) and Harold Landry III (Patriots), along with 10 tackles (7 solo). Over the past three seasons, he has averaged 14 sacks per year, proving why Parsons calls him one of “the best.” Parsons admires Garrett’s work ethic just as much as his statistics. “You see his work ethic and you see his process and you say, okay, now this is why this guy is this good and this great,” Parsons explained. When asked if anyone else comes close to Garrett’s level, Parsons didn’t hesitate, saying simply, “Just him.”

In a league where respect is earned, both Garrett and Parsons have clearly earned admiration for each other.
