Although Rodgers hasn’t explicitly endorsed ayahuasca substance, he shared his personal life-changing experience because of it. Poyer, who recently signed with the Dolphins, also revealed what he went through while experiencing Ayahuasca, prompting McAfee to share his thoughts on the retreat.

Poyer shared his Ayahuasca journey to Costa Rica with NFL friends Aaron Rodgers and Von Miller, capturing their experience on film. The footage showed them participating in the mind-altering journey, amidst the jungle, accompanied by drum music.

This caught the attention of Pat McAfee who expressed interest in such an adventure but admitted he lacks the courage for it currently. The show host mentioned, “Aaron and Tahoe I was talking about and I was on 100 MPS. I mean that don’t low ball it, maybe 200 milligrams okay. I was having a time out there, eyes not really open, they put me on TV all the time. We all saw it okay and I was like I’m good, though like I have a good mind.”
He said he believes in Karma and positive energy but would consider trying Ayahuasca if he ever feels the need for it. McAfee also mentioned that A-Rod suggested he try it once when the time feels right, indicating he would be there to support him.

However, Jordan Poyer’s IG post depicted him with Jets QB Rodgers and others, revealing why the four-time MVP was silent on the ongoing VP rumors. Rodgers was reportedly on Ayahuasca retreat in Costa Rica when news surfaced he might be considered as RFK’s running mate.
