Patrick Mahomes and Co might have faced the most noticeable defeat of this season. The Chiefs lost to the Denver Broncos with a 15-point deficit, and it was not a fluke. But it might have been due to the flu that Patrick Mahomes contracted pre-game. Or maybe because Taylor Swift didn’t show up in the game against the Broncos. Or maybe it’s just sheer bad luck on the Chiefs’ part and Andy Reid just took it on himself.

Well, for the first time in his career, Patrick Mahomes lost to Russell Wilson and the Broncos. The flu that he contracted made it difficult for him to perform at his usual caliber and cost the Chiefs the game. Pat McAfee thinks that Mahomes’ flu might have been the reason for Taylor Swift’s absence from the game.

Brittany Mahomes and Taylor Swift shook hands in the game and there are chances that Swift might have contracted the flu, or is already down with it. The flu is contagious, and Taylor wanted no part of it, per McAfee. He mentions how the ‘Broncos defense made Patrick Mahomes look not only sick, but bad at football,’. Maybe Taylor Swift IS the lucky charm for the Chiefs.
