Now, in this season, Mahomes is trying to focus on improvement and he keeps telling his teammates to get better and understands that he needs to do so himself as well. Mahomes said, “Yeah, I think guys are working hard. I mean, I’ve said every single week, guys are working hard to get better. And at the end of the day, we have to go out there and prove it. I mean, I know everybody hears us saying it, but unless we go out and prove it, I don’t think anyone’s gonna believe it.”

However, in the recent New Heights podcast episode, he talked about how the Chiefs are unable to catch the rhythm.

But Kelce wants to work on the flaws as a team, and he urges the offense line to live off the pressure from the defensive line, rather than otherwise. He said, “Knowing that we got guys that we can win with, and it’s just frustrating f**ing experience right now. And every single day we’re going in here fixing it, I promise you guys. And it’s not just one guy, it’s not just me playing like dogs*t, it’s not just us not being able to get the run game going. It’s not just us not agreeing, passing-wise.”
