The bling of NFL players is not hidden. A few of them are lavish houses, fast cars, and diamond chains. Even their big contracts aren’t hidden from anyone. While fans love it when their favorite superstars earn big, sometimes it also attracts negative attention. Recently, Chiefs stars, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce’s homes were burglarized. Here’s the update about it.

The league came out with a security alert about it. The memo in the press stated that the homes of professional athletes across different sports have become “increasingly targeted for burglaries by organized and skilled groups.” More so, these groups do such things on game days as a family member is less likely at home.

What does the police investigation reveal about Mahomes and Kelce’s house burglaries?

After carefully reviewing the details of the burglaries, security experts have called the robberies a ‘sophisticated‘ operation. A security expert, Mike Barbieri, claimed that there were chances that people involved in the construction or service work of these houses would be involved in such operations. If you think that was chilling, here’s another update.

Another security expert claimed that it was the work of a transnational crime ring which were targeting the houses of NFL and NBA superstars. On November 2, Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis’ house was also targeted. Many of his prized possessions were stolen. They find the details of such houses from public forums like the internet and others. A South American organization was also being investigated for these robberies.
