Patrick Mahomes turns the tables on the season 

During the tail end of the regular season, the Chiefs faltered a record of 5-5 in their last 10 games. I told y’all you know he’s different so um he’s a little bit different”, said Mahomes’ dad on Fox Sports Radio. With the Chiefs now securing a place in the Super Bowl again, Mahomes Sr. never had any doubts. “I’ve known from like I said, since he was four years old, I knew he was something different. He was something special”, said the two-time Super Bowl winner’s father.

And as Patrick Mahomes has firmly planted his feet in the conversation for one of the greatest quarterbacks in the NFL. One more Super Bowl ring on his hand would further his cause. And the Chiefs will be delighted to face a familiar foe.

But, just like this postseason, Mahomes stepped up in the second half. Mahomes ended up with 2 TDs while throwing for 286 yards, as the Chiefs won 31-20. And it was Mahomes who won his first-ever Super Bowl MVP.
