Who would have thought Patrick Mahomes would touch the pinnacle of football in such a short time? His confidence and leadership skills have been instrumental in changing the Kansas City Chiefs’ panorama and have propelled them to yet another Super Bowl. The Chiefs’ mid-season was a bit disappointing because of the lack of coordination leading to botched plays, yet the QB hardly shied away from taking the responsibility.

Patrick Mahomes shares his thoughts on overcoming the challenges
As mentioned earlier, the Chiefs have faced some ups and downs with some frustrations leading up to a crucial point. This is what the radio host was curious about and asked Mahomes, clarifying whether reaching the Super Bowl finally has left him with some sort of content or a “rewarding feeling.”

“For sure, obviously, we want to finish it off with a win and you can really appreciate it but uh, just to go through the adversity uhm, and get better because of it and be better going into the playoffs because of it. We really felt calm, and we felt like we were ready to go every single game we’ve played in the playoffs because we felt the adversity and we know how to deal with it and be better,” explained Mahomes to the Radio Host.

For now, it looks like the team has worked around the offense problems that had the Chiefs struggling for a long time. The issue was resolved at the start of the playoffs and now, with Mahomes and Kelce back in their usual form, matters look settled for the side. Their swagger reflects nothing but confidence going into the Bowl against the Niners.

Who will win the SB LVIII?
On paper, the San Francisco 49ers are a stronger team in all departments. They rank second in offense and 8 in defense. While they are rated 4 in their passing game, their rushing game is slightly better as they have secured 3 place in rushing, per NFL.

As for the Kansas City Chiefs, the only thing they are better at than the Niners is their defense, which ranks second in the league. The Chiefs’ offense is ranked 9 in the league and their passing is ranked 6 with their rushing game ranked 19 in the league. Going by the numbers on paper, it’s practical to think that the Niners might win Super Bowl LVIII. But the football league is full of unanticipated victories and the Chiefs surely have a habit of proving everyone wrong.
