Three Super Bowl trophies and one new restaurant! That’s what Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce have been up to. They have collaborated with Noble 33- a Las Vegas-based hospitality group, to open an upscale steakhouse in their home city. Named 1587 Prime after their jersey numbers, the restaurant is set to open in early 2025 inside the Loews Kansas City hotel. Mahomes is used to following the GOAT playbook, and he took one straight out of Michael Jordan’s for this one.

After all, Michael Jordan’s Steakhouse is a very popular name in the industry. Located in Chicago, Oak Brook, and several other places, he spearheaded the idea in the 90s. Now Mahomes and Kelce are on a similar path!

Their partnership with Noble 33 marks a significant step into the culinary world. The duo expressed their excitement about bringing something special to their community in Kansas City, drawing inspiration from their experiences. “Travis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City,” Mahomes said, as reported by The Kansas City Star.

The steakhouse, spanning 10,000 square feet across two floors, will feature a meat display showcasing specialty cuts, making it a focal point of the restaurant. Additionally, it will house one of the largest wine collections in the state, offering patrons an extensive selection to complement their dining experience. While specific dishes from the menu are yet to be revealed, it’s a possibility that items from other Noble 33 restaurants will be incorporated, promising a unique culinary journey for guests. However, the duo will probably not just stop with KC.

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce: Brand beyond Kansas City

Beyond Kansas City, Mahomes and Kelce’s partnership with Noble 33 opens doors for potential collaborations in other cities where the hospitality group has a significant presence. With plans for expansion already in motion, fans can anticipate more Mahomes-Kelce restaurant ventures in the future. Both athletes have showcased their love for quality meat, further underscoring their commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences both on and off the field. But why a steakhouse?

Well, both have previously revealed their love of beef around town. For his birthday last year, Kelce had a 24-ounce porterhouse steak and a filet on the side at the Golden Ox. And he once also took Taylor Swift on a date to Piropos, known for its grilled meats. As for Mahomes, his go-to order is a prime rib from Rye.
