The co-owner of the Kansas City Current recently announced on her official Instagram that she’s teaming up with Abercrombie, a brand that caters to consumers for both casual and athleisure outfits. This time, she’s doing it again as the difference is the brand’s increased commitment towards the NFL fans. While last year’s collection featured vintage-inspired Chiefs gear, as she was “obsessed with the vintage look,” the 2025 line introduces a wider range of NFL team merchandise, like retro-style crew sweaters, varsity bomber jackets, and mockneck cardigans.
Additionally, this year’s promotion offers a rare 25 percent discount on the entire NFL collection, unlike last year, when her fans could get up to 20 percent off.

This isn’t the first time she’s been called upon to endorse NFL products. Just a month earlier, she became part of the Dallas-based haircare brand Divi. Now, Divi is part of her “game day glamup”. Since Taylor Swift and the Chiefs‘ tight end Travis Kelce blew up Instagram after they announced their engagement, that cultural moment has amplified the visibility of figures like Brittany, making it a great opportunity for Divi to bring in their influence in the NFL space.

Taylor Swift’s new song “CANCELLED” on Brittany Mahomes?
Is Taylor Swift’s new song “cancelled” throwing shades at Brittany Mahomes? Fans sure think so. Swifties have been in full detective mode since the release of The Life of a Showgirl, analyzing every lyric for hidden meanings. Many believe the track is about Swift’s friendship with Mahomes. In “CANCELLED!,” the 10th song on the album, Swift sings, “Good thing I like my friends canceled / I like them cloaked in Gucci and scandal.” This is where the fans’ theories come in.
Adding fuel to the rumor is Swift’s “Gucci” lyric. Fans quickly pointed out that Brittany adorned a $6,000 Gucci outfit at Wimbledon last summer, attending the event with Patrick Mahomes. One fan posted on X, “Yes cancelled seems to be most directly about Brittany Mahomes.” While others debated whether the song references Swift’s longtime friend, Blake Lively. Another user weighed in, “Agreeing that Cancelled is more for Brittany than for Blake.”

“Having had my own experiences with mass judgment and being at the center of many dramatic, kind of scandalous moments in my career where people were all weighing in at once, or at least it felt like that,” Swift told Apple Music. She added that the lyrics also reflect how “when other people go through [being canceled] publicly, you kind of find yourself thinking about how they’re probably gonna get smarter because of it.”
Brittany Mahomes has faced her share of controversies, from liking Donald Trump’s Instagram post to spraying champagne over the Chiefs’ rival fans. Yet, despite the speculations over Swift creating distance from Mahomes, the friendship remains intact.
