On Sunday, the New England Patriots faced the Indianapolis Colts in Frankfurt, Germany. With the defeat against the Colts, the Pats currently stand at 2-8. The 24-year-old footballer secured a fantastic record as compared to his previous performances, allowing his team to settle at a comfortable spot against the New England side. Further, the sacking of the DE gave the Colts a chance to keep the QB of the Pats away from his usual display of skills.

Colts’ DE outshines previous performances to secure a strong impact on the game

The Patriots seemed positive to get back to their winning ways, but Dayo Odeyingbo played the role of the villain in their comeback attempt. Sacking the QB Mac Jones three times consecutively, Odeyingbo brought his team to an expected dominated position. Before this game, he had only recorded three sacks in the entire season, but in this game, he secured three sacks in the first half itself.

Per the official Colts website, since DeForest Buckner’s 3 sacks against the Houston Texans in 2020, this is the first time for a player to do so in a game for them. He also entered the prestigious list following 15 other Colts players to grab this honor. While the defense of the Colts was at its very best, criticism also seems due to the offense of the Patriots that looked more than subpar in their display.
