According to Spotrac, three players from the New England Patriots are on the verge of receiving incentives. Wide receiver Stefon Diggs is just shy of six receptions and 295 receiving yards to receive a $500k incentive for each. After Week 14, Diggs has made 64 receptions for 705 yards. Based on his contract, upon reaching 70 receptions and 1,000 receiving yards, the incentive clause will be triggered, making it a $1 million incentive for him. He can make even more if he reaches 80 receptions and 1,100 yards.

Next is tight end Hunter Henry, who will receive a $250k bonus upon five more catches. His contract mentioned that he would receive it after completing 50 catches, and currently, he sits on 45. From 50 receptions onwards, Henry will receive a bonus for every five receptions until the number reaches 65.

Finally, wide receiver Mack Hollins is the third wideout who needs to make five more receptions to receive $300k more. Hollins already received a $300k bonus after completing 30 receptions. According to his contract, he will receive a $300k bonus upon 40 and 50 catches as well. Currently, he is at 35 receptions. So, five more and he will make a lot more money.

With $1,550,000 on the line, all of them will hope that Drake Maye is in top form, throwing accurate passes towards them. It is not just them; Drake Maye himself will also try to continue his excellent form, especially since he is one of the candidates to become the Most Valuable Player.

Drake Maye has been the driving force for the Patriots

The New England Patriots are 11-2 in the league after Week 14. They are fighting for the top seed position with the Denver Broncos. The last three seasons have been utter failures for them. However, this season, they have a great team with every player giving their best for that 7th Lombardi Trophy. At the center of their offense is Drake Maye, who was their first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

In his second season as an NFL quarterback, Maye is one of the favorites to win the MVP. He completed 276 out of 386 passes for 3,412 passing yards and 23 touchdowns. He is second on the list of most passing yards in 2025, only behind Dak Prescott (3,637 yards). Post Week 14, he has a passer rating of 111.9. Overall, the young quarterback is doing wonders in his second season.

The Patriots will go up against the Buffalo Bills and the Baltimore Ravens in Week 15 and Week 16. The Bills have Josh Allen, and the Ravens have Lamar Jackson as their QB. They are the MVPs for the past two seasons. If the quarterback puts on a splendid show against these two teams, his path towards winning that MVP might become even smoother.
