What?” replied Eisen, seeking clarification. “Justin is not returning calls?” asked a confused Eisen as Chase said, “Hey Justin if you see this man give me a call bruh, please brother”. Apparently, Eisen thought that this was a piece of breaking news and a major takeaway from their conversation.

Initially, the conversation started because this might be Chase’s last season with the Bengals, and given his performance, he might have other better options to choose from in the future. This was Eisen’s main interest and he diverted it to how the Bengals WR should consult JJ, who still has one more season to go with the Vikings.

Will Ja’Marr Chase choose the Vikings after his contract ends?

Ja’Marr Chase has signed a $30.8 million, four-year deal with the Bengals. After this season ends, he is eligible to sign an extension with the Bengals. However, Chase hasn’t given it that much thought and mentioned to Eisen that for now, he is focused on getting more yardage and is committed to making his team win games.

The situation with Justin Jefferson is nearly identical in terms of tenure. Thought the Vikings signed him for way less than what the Bengals paid his friend, Jefferson will be playing with his current team till the end of the 2024 season, if he doesn’t get traded that is.
