‘Prophetic’ Skip Bayless Predicts Eagles’ Domination With Drew ‘Not A’ Lock Leading Seahawks

The Philadelphia Eagles and the Seattle Seahawks Week 15 game is in full force, currently. The Eagles are leading the game with 17-10 and it has already set the motion for various predictions. One such strong speculation has come forth from none other than ‘prophetic‘ Skip Bayless. Popularly known for giving his predictions, this time, Bayless’ potential results of the game seem to be laced with taunt.
The Hawks have not won any of their last four games. This is the first time the franchise has experienced such a losing streak since their coach Pete Carroll and GM John Schneider started working together in 2010. Thus, the home game against Philly is crucial for the Seahawks. However, according to Bayless, the franchise seems to be less worried about it, as they are experiencing QB exchange scenarios on Monday night.

During the Monday night football game between the Seahawks and the Eagles, Drew Lock is playing as the starting QB, instead of the usual starter, Geno Smith. Smith was available to play, but he had a groin injury that made him miss the previous week’s game against the Niners.
Eagles get a huge break. No Geno. Drew “Not A” Lock at QB for the Seahawks. Congrats, Eagles fans. You win.

However, when the full team started warming up just before the game, Lock was seen taking snaps, and Smith was not seen on the field. This decision might have prompted sports commentator, Skip Bayless, to tweet his views, predicting Eagles’ win. He tweeted, “Eagles get a huge break. No Geno. Drew “Not A” Lock at QB for the Seahawks. Congrats, Eagles fans. You win.”

“Nightmare Before Christmas”: Skip Bayless Rants on Cowboys vs. Bills as Dak Prescott Becomes ‘Deer in Blitz Headlights’
It seems Bayless’ prediction would come true, as currently, in the matchup, the Eagles are ahead of the Hawks with third quarter in motion. While the pressure is on both the teams, it appears that the Eagles have a slight edge over the home team. But, the question remains, why did the Seahawks bring in Lock to replace Smith.
Why did the Hawks replace Geno Smith with Drew Lock?
The Eagles’ QB Jalen Hurts is playing in the game despite being sick. On the other hand, the Hawks had their injured quarterback, Geno Smith, ready for the game. But, they still decided to open the game with Drew Lock, arguably due to multiple reasons. The Seahawks initially thought Lock would start, but then Smith became available, making it a tough call for coach Pete Carroll.

Smith surprised everyone by moving well in warm-ups, but he had aggravated his injury in practice, so he wasn’t healthy enough to start. Furthermore, given the importance of the game, the Hawks wanted to be fully prepared for the game. And the answer for the team, especially after four back-to-back losses, probably did not lie in the injured Smith.

Therefore, instead, they decided to experiment with a new QB in hope for a win against the Eagles, and keep their playoff chances alive. This marked Smith’s second consecutive missed game. Astonishingly, Lock, who started for Seattle, has a record of 0-1 this season, while Smith has a record of 6-6.
