Things became worse just as things were looking good for the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders cornerback Amik Robertson has been ruled out of the game. The interaction between Breece Hall and Robertson has given Raiders fans and football lovers chills.

The Las Vegas Raiders have shared an injury report amid the game. Things are not looking good for the CB. Things may have come in the Jets’ favor, but at an enormous cost. Football enthusiasts all over the world send their prayers to the Raiders CB as the Raiders struggle to topple the Jets. The injury is reminiscent of the Damar Hamlin situation when he suffered a life threatening cardiac arrest in the game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

It was the second quarter, and the Jets were leading 6-3. After a quick snap, the Jets’ QB handed the ball over to Breece Hall, and he made a run for it. Things turned dark very soon for the Raiders. As Hall was running with the ball, Robertson decided to stop him. Marcus Epps had the same idea as Robertson, and both decided to stop Hall. As they both headed toward Breece Hall, he jumped in the air and hit Amik Robertson with his knee. This gave the Raiders CB a concussion, and he didn’t get back up after taking the hit.

The Raiders have ruled him out of the game. Robertson looked like he was unconscious as the medical professionals rushed toward him to assess the situation.  Breece Hall was seen with a slight grin after the event. Hopefully, this is not a Damar Hamlin situation, and nothing serious happened to the Raiders cornerback. The fans offer their prayers to Amik Robertson as the extent of his injury remains a mystery.

Things finally started to turn around for the Raiders after they fired HC Josh McDaniels and GM Dave Ziegler, but as fate would have it, the Raiders had some suffering to endure.

What now for the Robertson?

Thankfully, Robertson didn’t black out and could stand up after he took a hit at the neck-back. Medical professionals escorted the 25-year-old off the field as he lay in a fencing position with his arm suspended in the air. He played football for Louisiana Tech before he was drafted by the Raiders back in 2020.

It’s truly a miracle that Robertson could take that kind of a hit and still get up. The nasty hit could have landed him out of the season, putting another dent in the Raiders’ armor. At this point of the season, the Raiders cannot afford to take any more hits if they want to make it to the playoffs.
