You have the ability to turn the tides of any organization you step foot into.” Cooper Kupp’s wife Anna Marie Kupp was true when she celebrated her husband and the Los Angeles Rams’ star’s legacy. Back in 2021, he was unreal, as nobody could stop him. He led the league in catches (145), yards (1,947), and touchdowns (16) in 17 games. Then he turned around and crushed it in the playoffs, too. Every single game, he showed up big. He even helped the Rams bring home the Super Bowl. But since then, it’s been tough for the man!

Injuries kept holding Cooper Kupp back, and that magic just didn’t look the same. He missed 18 games in three seasons. Still solid, but not that 2021 version. And now, after everything he gave the Rams, they moved on. But Seattle didn’t waste time. They picked him up on a three-year deal worth $45 million, hoping there’s still some of that fire left in him. So, now as the Kupp family has finally unpacked their things in Seattle, bidding goodbye to their city, the WR’s wife showed the world that they are still loyal to LA!

On Wednesday, Cooper Kupp’s wife, Anna Marie, gave fans a little glimpse into their new chapter on Instagram. In the post, their oldest son, Cooper Jameson Kupp, was seen unpacking boxes marked “fragile.” But it wasn’t just the image that caught attention, it was her caption.

You can take the girl out of LA.” Just eight words, but packed with meaning. It was a subtle, heartfelt nod to Marie’s love for Los Angeles, even as they start fresh in Seattle. The boxes were straight from Erewhon, that trendy LA grocery spot, showing she’s still holding on to the comforts of home.

Of course, moving takes time, and while Anna’s adjusting for WR Cooper Kupp, heading to Seattle feels a little like coming home.

Cooper Kupp signed a new deal with his dream team!

No doubt, Cooper Kupp and his family’s heart still beats for Los Angeles. But that doesn’t mean the WR isn’t liking his new home. Instead, he is finally home, and you could feel it the moment he showed up. From Eastern Washington helmet nearby to Pearl Jam tee under a flannel, he is just soaking it all in.

As per the reports, Kupp is like a Yakima kid who never really left Washington in spirit, from breaking records at Eastern to meeting his wife at a high school track meet. His family’s got roots all over the state. His dad, Craig, played at PLU for his legendary football career. Mom Karin also played soccer at PLU, and even grandpa, Jake Kupp, left his mark here at the University of Washington.

So, after eight unforgettable seasons with the Rams, a Super Bowl MVP, and nearly 8,000 yards, he’s now wearing a Seahawks jersey like it was always meant to happen. On Tuesday, his youngest stood beside him in a giant Seahawks helmet, and it just felt right. Cooper talked about the people, the culture, and that feeling you get when you breathe in the Northwest air before kickoff.

He said, “Being here, the communities that we’ve been a part of, Yakima, Tri-Cities, Spokane, Cheney, to now be a part of a professional sports team here in Seattle, it feels like a full-circle moment. The biggest thing is just the people that this organization has brought in. That was the selling point that Coach Mike (Macdonald) brought, that John (Schneider) had talked about; it was about the people. All the players I talked to, just the culture of this organization, the winning culture of this organization, that’s something I wanted to be a part of….It was my favorite thing, walking out of the locker room and breathing the Northwest air. It’s like, ‘Man, this is just a special place to be‘.”

Yes! For years, Seattle’s 12s cheered against Cooper Kupp. Now, they’ll cheer for him. And honestly, that’s something special for the respected wide receiver.
