This although bursted a laughter among the crew present at the scene, Mahomes’ heroic deed and love for Sterling is what melting the hearts of many on social media, especially his mother, Randi Mahomes. The mother of three on her official X account, re-shared the video by a fan, in which Mahomes could be seen running to protect his child from the sunlight. Proud momma Mahomes wrote: “He really is the best daddy!!”

Watching the eclipse is definitely a fun moment. However, the condition is to wear sun protective glasses before looking up at the sky. The Mahomes couple hosted a solar eclipse party in their backyard, and Brittany Mahomes shared a video on her Instagram story. In the video, their 2-year-old daughter, Sterling, starts to walk out from under the covered patio where they were watching the eclipse. The quarterback quickly reacted and rushed to block Sterling’s view of the sun because it’s dangerous to look directly at it during an eclipse. This protective move shows Patrick in “Protective Dad Mode,” ensuring his daughter’s safety.
