Nothing can ever compare to parents’ love and blessings! Chiefs star player Patrick Mahomes‘s mom, Randi Mahomes, is facing a tough crisis, as her beloved father, Randy Martin is hospitalized. And, she has requested her fans to pray for him. To find the ultimate light and strength to deal with the situation, Randi Mahomes has found respite in the memories of her late mom, Debbie Martin.
Taking to her Instagram, Randi Mahomes shared an emotional message via her story, as she wrote, “I miss my Mom’s voice, I miss her laugh, I miss her calling to check in with me, I miss her being around for the holidays. Love and miss you mama.” Randi Mahomes lost her mom in April 2023 at the age of 72. And, since then, Randi has time and again, remembered her mom to honor her memories and surround herself with her mom’s divine presence.

Now, as her father faces health threats, Randi is finding comfort and strength in it. Following her mom’s loss, Randi also posted a tribute on Instagram, as she penned, “I love you, momma, I will see you again in Heaven.”

On the occasion of her late mom’s birthday in August 2023, Randi posted a throwback photo, writing, “I love you and miss you so very much … still doesn’t feel real you are gone but I know you are in a much better place.” Once again through her IG handle, Randi intends to join forces to gather prayers for her ailing father.
An update on Patrick Mahomes’ granddad’s health
Randy Martin was hospitalized again as per an update posted by the Mahomes matriarch on January 3. She posted a photo with him, writing, “Friday night visiting my dad ❤️.” As his health conditions became worse, she called for collective prayers back on December 28, 2024, as she asked, “Prayer warriors please pray for my daddy. He is not doing well.”
Randi had posted the first instance of his declining health on September 13 last year, giving an update on his serious condition. A few days later, she shared a cryptic Twitter post on her Twitter handle, giving insights about her emotional struggle.
She wrote, “I just wish I could somehow make it all make sense … but I just can’t. #stillblessed.” She also mentioned the Bible verse, “Trust in the Lord.” Again, on September 22, she continued to request her fans to send in prayers.
Later, on September 29, she shared a photo of her recovering dad from the hospital bed with her daughter Mia Randall as they watched the Chiefs play. She wrote, “Watching the game with daddy today… prayers please for my dad.”
With Randy’s recent hospitalization, Randi Mahomes’ indeed needs the support of her prayer warriors to overcome this turmoil.
