The couple who was injured during the crash hired a lawyer, Tennessee Walker, who told WFAA that the couple was “angry.” The lawyer also said, “She had a very big laceration on her left eye. She’s got several stitches that were put in at the hospital and the eye socket is completely swollen and black and blue,” Walker said.

The same charges are levied on the driver of the other car, Corvette, on an individual named Theodore Knox, 21. According to the police, the passengers who left the crash scene will not be facing any charges.

What Rashee Rice’s future might look like

As pointed out by ESPN, aggravated assault is a second-degree felony, which is punishable by up to 20 years in prison. On top of that, Collision involving bodily injury, a third-degree felony, is punishable by up to 10 years in prison. Also, a collision involving injury is punishable by up to five years in prison.

These charges do not include offenses for the WR leaving the scene. He might still face additional charges for those transgressions.
