The distressing turn of events unfolded on the North Central Expressway in northeast Dallas around 6:20 p.m. The Dallas police have pieced together a narrative that suggests the accident was the unfortunate climax of a high-speed race between two luxury vehicles – a Corvette and a Lamborghini.

This adrenaline-fueled race reportedly spiraled out of control, triggering a domino effect that entangled six vehicles in the chaos, as reported by Dallas News. The accident culminated in four individuals sustaining minor injuries. While two received on-site medical attention, the other two were sent to the hospital.

Rice fled from the scene of the accident

The Lamborghini “hit the center median wall, causing a chain reaction collision involving four other vehicles,” detailed Dallas Morning News’ Lowman. A police call sheet, as per the Dallas Morning News, identifies 23-year-old Rice as the alleged Corvette driver. Both drivers allegedly made a hasty retreat from the scene, abandoning the wreckage and the injured, as conveyed by Dallas police spokeswoman Kristin Lowman.

Averified X account @shav457 stated that, according to witnesses, a figure believed to be Rice, who, in a desperate bid to flee, covered an astonishing 40 yards in a mere 4.5 seconds.
