Quarterback Lamar Jackson’s thunderous comeback after 32 days brought life back to the Baltimore Ravens. The team looked confident, better, and most importantly, back in the playoff race. As they gear up to face the Minnesota Vikings, the Ravens appear healthier than they’ve been in a long time.

Just before the game, the Ravens released their injury report, which listed only two players. Cornerback Marlon Humphrey is dealing with a finger injury. However, he was a full participant in Friday’s practice and currently has no game designation.
The other name is tackle Ronnie Stanley. While he sat out of Friday’s practice, head coach John Harbaugh explained that it was simply a rest day and confirmed that the player wouldn’t carry any injury designation. Now, the clean injury report has clearly motivated the team.

“A healthy team is a good team, and your best ability is your availability, as they always say,” linebacker Roquan Smith said. “So, it’s about just continuing with that and just going out and being ourselves throughout the week and echoing that into the weekend on Sunday.”

It seems Jackson’s 4-touchdown performance against the Miami Dolphins has reignited hope within the Ravens locker room. This was his first game back after missing three weeks with a hamstring injury. His best target and tight end, Mark Andrews, believes that with Jackson leading the squad, they’re a “dangerous” team.

He’s right, but the key now is maintaining that momentum.
The defense has also shown impressive improvement in recent weeks. This was especially after acquiring safety Alohi Gilman in exchange for outside linebacker Odafe Oweh. Since Gilman’s arrival on Oct. 7, the Ravens have not allowed more than 17 points in a game. Their 2-1 record signifies that the team is turning things around after a poor start.

Coach Harbaugh has also praised Gilman’s impact and added how his presence has helped elevate the play of those around him.
Before the trade deadline, the Ravens also brought in defensive lineman Dre’Mont Jones from the Tennessee Titans. With defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike out for the season because of a neck injury and Broderick Washington Jr. on injured reserve, Jones’ arrival comes at the right time. He’s expected to bolster Baltimore’s pass rush.
While things look good for the Ravens, the same cannot be said about the Vikings.

The Minnesota Vikings are battling through mounting injuries
Cornerback Jeff Okudah is out for Week 10 after sustaining an injury in the game against the Los Angeles Chargers. He remains under concussion protocol and has now been placed on injured reserve. That means he’ll miss at least four more games before he can return.
Tight end Josh Oliver has also been ruled out. He suffered a foot sprain in Week 8, missed the game in Week 9. And he will be sidelined for at least one more. Safety Theo Jackson, who is dealing with shoulder and toe injuries, is listed as questionable for the upcoming game.

The same goes for running back Aaron Jones, who missed four games due to a hamstring injury suffered in Week 2. Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell said that Jones is improving. But his availability will depend on how his before the game.
Considering the Vikings are facing too many injuries on their roster, do you think they will be able to stop the Ravens’ winning streak?
