Russell Wilson‘s offseason isn’t just about relaxing – it’s about living. He’s been showing up courtside at Knicks games, hitting The Masters at Augusta National in April, and soaking in every bit of it. But what really stands out? The way he’s all in with family. Whether it’s Future, Sienna, Win, or little Amora, Russell and Ciara are making memories that matter. This past weekend, the couple was all in as they joined to celebrate a wicked-themed party for their older daughter. And if you are thinking that’s all for the couple….. think again!
On Thursday, Russell Wilson teased his fans with a new adventure coming up this weekend. He shared a story on his official Instagram account, featuring a poster of the upcoming event – Sports Illustrated’s RACE WEEKEND MIAMI. And guess who is hosting it? Yeah, you guessed it right! It’s Wilson and his singer wife, Ciara.
The couple is turning up the heat in Miami this weekend. And surely, this one’s got speed written all over it. Ciara and Russell Wilson are teaming up with Authentic CEO Jamie Salter to throw a kickoff party ahead of the Miami Grand Prix. Yep, before those engines roar and the world’s fastest drivers hit the track, Russ and CiCi are setting the tone.

And judging by last year’s crowd – Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Tom Brady, Joe Burrow, even Odell Beckham Jr. – you can hope multiple stars might be out in full force again. Hence, Wilson was thrilled to announce and host the event, as the QB wrote, “Excited to Host the sportsillustrated Party w/@ciara & @jamiejsalter tonight at Formula 1!” He also tagged a couple of his brands, such as 3Brand and Good Man Brand.
It’s not the first time the Wilson couple has graced F1 events. Earlier, too, many times, they have supported their friend, Lewis Hamilton, and the team Mercedes (as their guests) in the grand events. So, of course, this F1 love is not new for the couple.
The Free Practice 1 and Sprint Qualifying events will take place on Friday, May 2. While the other qualifying rounds are scheduled to kick off in the next days, with the final Grand Prix taking place on Sunday, March 4. But before that, Russell Wilson had an important gesture to make on Thursday.
Russell Wilson remembered Kobe Bryant’s late daughter!
It’s been five years since the world lost Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna in a heartbreaking helicopter crash. She was just 13 then. And while time moves on, the legacy they left behind still holds strong. What made this week even harder was Thursday, May 1. On this day, it would’ve been Gigi’s 19th birthday. Hence, to honor her, Russell Wilson shared a touching tribute on his Instagram.

He posted a powerful photo of his late friend’s daughter, Gianna, wearing her Mamba jersey, to his IG story. In addition, he wrote, “Happy Birthday Gigi” with an infinity, a red heart, and praying emojis. Wilson even tagged her mom, Vanessa, and sister, Natalia. It was simple, but it hit the hearts of so many, especially those who’ve always looked up to the Bryant family.
On the other hand, Vanessa also poured her heart out, sharing a photo of Gigi with a message that read, “Happy birthday, Gigi! Mommy loves and misses you more than I could ever express. I love you, Gianna.” No doubt, Gigi had the heart, the fire, and the talent to become something incredible. And even though she’s gone, her light still shines next to her father’s. Always!
