The winning hint….
The Seahawks won their only Super Bowl on February 2, 2014, under Russell Wilson. They defeated Denver 43-8. Born on November 29, 1988, Wilson was about 25 years of age when he won Lombardi. Now, as the quarterback is determined to rewrite Hall of Fame fate for himself, he dropped a hidden message on his official Instagram profile. The quarterback dropped a couple of vintage snaps of him playing football, and glorified it with a cryptic caption – “35 feeling like 25!” According to the fans, this caption might be a hint by Wilson that he will return to the Super Bowl, as he won it with Seattle when he was 25, and interestingly, now he claimed feeling younger (25).

Additionally, in February, when he was asked about his future with Denver and his plans, Wilson admitted that he wants to stay with the team for many more years. However, he also highlighted, “For me, it’s about winning — over the next two years, I want to win two [Super Bowls], I want to feel the chill of that trophy again. I love the city and everything else, but you also want to be [in] a place that wants you, too. The thing I want to do is to win, that’s all I care about.” Moreover, by winning 2 more Super Bowls, the quarterback wants to register himself in the Hall of Famer list.

So, now that he feels like 25 and holds a vision for himself, will the Steelers find themselves lucky to win their trophy after 16 years? Well, it remains to be seen. As of now, the team is having their OTAs, and the Steel City’s two quarterbacks, Wilson & Justin Fields, are practicing together.

Update from the Steelers’ OTAs
Russell Wilson and Justin Fields have been practicing with Pittsburgh for three weeks, building chemistry with wide receivers like George Pickens, Calvin Austin III, and Pat Freiermuth. Although it was earlier reported that Wilson will take the QB1 role, for a fair chance, both QBs are expected to compete for the quarterback position during training camp.

To prepare, they have been working on passing and footwork to improve timing and efficiency, which are essential for Arthur Smith’s offense. The Steelers are relying on Wilson and Fields to lead a better offense after parting ways with their previous quarterbacks and offensive coordinator, Matt Canada. George Pickens needs to take on a major role in the passing game, especially after the team traded Diontae Johnson. Rookie Roman Wilson is also expected to play an important role.
Thus, it remains to be seen what the Steelers will bring in this 2024 season.
