Head coach Sean Payton’s outburst targeting Russell Wilson has grabbed eyeballs as the quarterback prepares for the next clash. Focusing on the task, he will be slightly careful against HC Bill Belichick’s side. The Broncos playoff hopes are hanging by a thread. They can’t afford to lose their next against the Patriots after a forgettable last season and one of the worst starts to this one. The Broncos have made a remarkable comeback.
Losing five games out of their first six, no one predicted that the Broncos would win six out of their next eight matchups. The dream comeback took a significant hit as the team was crushed 42-17 in their last outing against the Lions. During the game, the HC looked angry during one of his conversations with Wilson as the team gave away 21 points in the first half. Wilson is now focusing on the upcoming battle amidst the heat of the incident.

The Patriots are officially out of the playoff race and will play to save their dignity. Before the clash, Wilson gave due credit to their HC Belichick. During a recent presser, a reporter asked Wilson about his preparation for the game, “When you know that Bill Belichick is going to try to take away your top option (Courtland Sutton), how does that change things and preparing for that and the in-game adjustment as well?”
Wilson quickly replied, praising Bill Belichick, “Obviously, Coach Bel is one of the best of all time.” He further added, “He will have those guys prepared.” He gave insights on the Patriots’ game plan, “They will do different things.” He quickly appreciated the opposition and their coach again, “They do a really good job, they are well coached, really sharp.”
After that, he shed light on his team’s preparation, “We’re gonna have to trust our eyes, trust what we see: The rung game, the pass game, all that stuff, and just play clean football.” The plan sounds good, but Wilson and Payton have to keep their nerves in check.
