What separates a player from a champ? The ability to smile through both wins and losses. Who better to understand this than Ciara? Her Steelers QB hubby, Russell Wilson, knows all about riding those emotional waves. When Brazilian gymnast Rebeca Andrade clinched her first gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics, the crowd erupted in applause. Even more touching, runner-up Simone Biles and bronze medalist Jordan Chiles honored her with a respectful bow. Ciara couldn’t help but appreciate the moment.

On the 5th of August, the “Level Up” singer shared an Instagram story featuring Biles and Chiles’ tribute to Andrade. She reposted ESPN’s appreciation post of the silver and bronze medalists holding Andrade’s hands as she stood on the podium as well. Ciara’s caption to the story read, “This!!❤️❤️❤️,” capturing her awe perfectly. Three hearts, three champs—that’s a winning combination! Guess these are the moments where her song “How We Roll” might suit perfectly.

Well, the coincidence of this Insta story is such that it marks one year of Ciara’s “How We Roll” song -released on 4th August 2023. The date also marked Simone Biles’ return following a two-year hiatus. Gymnastics and music crossing paths like this are rare, but the playbook had more pages to turn.

Fast forward to November 2023, and Jordan Chiles took a timeout from her own routine to give a shout-out to Ciara’s stunning pregnancy photoshoot. The then-soon-to-be Mama in a pink-feathered coat flaunting her baby bump, trendy specs, and knee-high boots, had Chiles cheering from the sidelines. The nod to Ciara’s bold fashion was pure class. And Chiles, a fashion connoisseur herself, didn’t miss the chance to post it on her IG story.

Now, the tables have turned! Ciara’s on the sidelines, celebrating a precious moment between Chiles, Biles, and Andrade at the 2024  Olympics. This exchange is like a game-winning touchdown, highlighting the mutual admiration and connection between “Da Girls”. However, amidst following the Olympics, and performing on the world tour, Ciara has made time to cheer for her pro football husband as well.

Ciara is Russell Wilson’s no.1 supporter!

On July 31, Ciara “1, 2 stepped” onto the Steel City’s training camp to watch her beloved Russell Wilson in action. While the Steelers were busy ramping up for the season, Ciara took a break from her Out of This World tour with Missy Elliott and Busta Rhymes to show her support. It’s not every day you see a pop sensation swapping her stage lights for the gridiron lights, but when it comes to Russ, she’s always ready.

From the glitz of Kennywood to the action at a Penguins game, Ciara’s been spotted around Pittsburgh quite often. Especially since the Steelers signed Russ in March. But the calf injury means that he is, unexpectedly, caught up in a battle for QB with Justin Fields. However, the position, as noted by NFL Insider Mark Kaboly, is still Wilson’s to lose.

Now, with Ciara rooting for Russ, the Steelers Nations would hope for Mr. Clutch to come out of this minor blip. As the excitement for the new season grows, one question remains. Can the Steelers jersey number 3 charge them to a Super Bowl-winning season?
