The Denver Broncos started the season horribly. So they brought in a new coach, Sean Payton, to revitalize the team. His efforts started bearing fruits in the latter half of the season, but as the moment of truth has arrived, there are still issues in the Broncos camp. And a former QB for the Ravens has asked Payton to make a public apology.
Even when the team wasn’t performing up to the mark, Wilson was toiling away. And now just three games more to go in the regular season, the team is trying its best to strengthen its playoff chances. So, per Robert Griffin III, an apology has to be directed at superstar QB, Russell Wilson by Payton.

At last week’s game against the Lions, while the Broncos were trailing, an offensive play by the team was deemed to be offside. This call by the refs ticked HC Payton, who at first showed his disagreement with the officials. Then turned to QB Wilson and had some not-so-pleasant words with him as well.
Sean Payton embarrassed Russell Wilson in front of the world and showed his team that @DangeRussWilson is not his guy by going after him on the sideline. @SeanPayton should publicly apologize to his QB and show he has his back.

When the media confronted Payton about what he said to the QB, Payton replied, “Listen, what I talk with Russell about is none of your business”. Though RG3 agrees with this sentiment, he also said, “If you don’t want people to ask that question then you can’t do that to your QB on the sideline”.

Apart from stating that the entire incident was embarrassing for the Super Bowl winner, Wilson. Retired QB, RG3 also said, “Sean Payton should come out in the media publicly and apologize to Russell Wilson”.
His reasoning for the apology is simple, as he said “He (Payton) needs to show solidarity in this playoff push that he has his QB’s back”. It is tough not to agree with this sentiment since the Broncos need everything in their power to get a playoff spot.

With a record of 7-7, the Broncos have already ceded the primary playoff from the AFC West spot to the Chiefs. Their only hope is to make it to the wildcard game for the playoffs. They are currently on the bubble, placed at 11th. And only one thing can take them to the playoffs; victories.
The Broncos have a mere 28% probability of getting to the playoffs right now. But with a win against the Patriots this week, they’ll increase their chances to 37%. A loss would mean less than a 5% chance of getting through.
