Dak Prescott scored the TD on a two-yard run. Immediately after this happened, James Houston sacked the ball from the Packers’ QB Jordan Love, who was recovering the ball. Prescott made full use of the opportunity and threw a TD pass to George Pickens. In less than 30 seconds, the Cowboys went from 13-2 to leading 16-13 at halftime.

Hooker’s non-contact injury

The Dallas Cowboys’ safety, Malik Hooker, suffered a painful toe injury during the second quarter of the game. It was a non-contact injury in his left leg. Before exiting the game, he made four tackles, out of which two were solo. His absence for the rest of the game was confirmed by ESPN’s reporter, Todd Archer.

Penalty problem for the Cowboys

Cowboys’ linebacker, Marist Liufau, was awarded a penalty for ‘unnecessary roughness’ during the game. It is a penalty given for unwarranted physical contact. If a defensive player commits it, it leads to a 15-yard penalty and an automatic first down.

The incident took place in the 4th quarter when the Packers were playing offense. Their running back, Emanuel Wilson, was seen dropping a pass from the QB Jordan. As the ball hit the ground, Liufau delivered a hit to Wilson.

Such an incident was not missed by the referee who threw the flag. It hit the Cowboys as the Packers gained a 15-yard pass and gave them a 34-30 lead.

Micah Parsons’ suite gets a visit

During his time at the Dallas Cowboys, Parsons had purchased a field-level luxury suite at the AT&T Stadium for the entire 2025 season.

Since his unexpected trade to Green Bay, he reportedly requested a refund. But there was no refund policy, which meant he had to make use of it as a Packers player. That’s exactly what he did on Sunday.

The place was packed with his friends and family cheering for him. Amongst all the greens, only one Cowboys’ uniform could be seen: Trevon Diggs. Ahead of the kick-off, Diggs decided to stop by.

The two have been friends since both were playing for the Cowboys at one time. As they faced each other as rivals on the field, Diggs made sure to pay tribute to their friendship by visiting the suite. Such a gesture was one of the highlights that stood out during the game.

David Mulugheta graces the AT&T

Every fan who follows Micah Parsons knows how his trade-off from the Cowboys to the Packers was. They would also know the role of his agent, David Mulugheta. He is one of the top-ranked NFL agents at Athletes First. His primary role in the trade was to represent Parsons’ interests.

But the Cowboys’ front office wanted to negotiate with Parsons. This didn’t stop him, for he was at the forefront in discussions of Parsons’ new contract with the Packers.

Now, as the stadium was filled with the Cowboys and the Packers, many must have missed his presence. But he sure was there. Standing on the sides, David was seen talking and greeting people on Sunday.

Micah Parsons’ quick glance at the Dallas sideline

Micah Parsons was facing his former team on Sunday. It was given that he would attract a lot of attention. As per reports, Parsons had glanced at the Dallas Cowboys’ sideline during the Sunday game.

Call it muscle memory or something else, but Parsons’ glance at the sideline portrayed an old picture: a Former Cowboys player looking out for his team. But not anymore. Earning the new color green, he recorded three tackles.

Parsons also led the team with seven quarterback pressures. During the overtime period, his sack against Dak Prescott prevented a potential go-ahead touchdown.

That being said, with a 40-40 final, Sunday’s clash proved that sometimes, an epic journey ends right where it began.
