“Can We Pet Your Dog?”: Arizona Cardinals to Taylor Swift After Viral Coachella Image Shows Dog Donning ‘Gridbirds’ Jersey

Grammy winner Taylor Swift and her TE boyfriend Travis Kelce have been enchanting their fans with their delightful appearance at the star-studded music and arts festival. The 23rd music event, Coachella 2024 in California on Saturday, April 13 saw many celebrity jaw-dropping performances including Swift’s friend and collaborator Jack Antonoff, concerting with his band, Bleachers.

Since the music carnival began, Taylor Swift’s social media pictures and videos with friends at Coachella have been making rounds on the internet. After the “You Belong With Me” singer displayed her unwavering support for Travis Kelce’s podcast, now Swift’s Coachella viral snap with the dog is catching much attention.

Fans have been demonstrating their euphoria at seeing their favorite singers’ viral snaps. The 34-year-old singer’s viral post with her dog wearing ‘Gridbirds’ Jersey grabbed Arizona’s attention. And, the team could not stop themselves from showcasing their enthusiasm for the pop singer.

Taking to its official social media post, the Arizona Cardinals reshared the post of Swift’s update page “The Eras Tour”. After seeing the “I Knew You Were Trouble,” singer’s viral picture with her dog, Cardinals displayed their adoration for Taylor’s dog, captioning the post as “Can we pet your dog?”

In the original post, American Music Awards winner, Taylor looks stunning in a black-colored mini dress that she paired up with a “New Heights” green cap, posing with her pet. And, undoubtedly her dog’s eye-catching ‘Gridbirds’ Jersey look drew attention to the Cardinals.  The post caption reads, “ Taylor Swift stuns for Coachella #Coachella2024”.

Moreover, Taylor’s pet seems stylish donning a Cardinals red colored jersey while attending the Coachella 2024 event, promoting the Arizona team. And, it is being presumed that possibly Travis Kelce is joining the Cardinals, with the dog’s attire invoking the same idea.

The evolution of the Arizona Cardinals’ uniform

About a year ago in April 2023, the Arizona Cardinals made modifications to their uniforms, they launched a set of 3 uniforms, partnering with the sports giant Nike, for this season. Cardinals’ changed uniform set is made up of an all-red home kit, and the all-black alternate kit. After 18 years, it marked the first time when the football club made modifications to their uniforms since 2005.

The uniform includes a white away kit and modified helmets, along with silver facemasks and an enhanced 3D logo. Many diehard supporters of the Cardinals continued to think positively of their new uniforms. Nike’s design director, Kristi Lauzonis also unveiled some interesting facts about the new kit’s design, remarking, “The three main things we focused on were. How do we tell the traditional story and amplify some elements from the past? How do we bring it through the lens of modern-classic so it feels fresh, unique, and different for the franchise, and also how are we inclusive of all the fans in Arizona and the players as well, to get people really excited for what is coming with this uniform.”

The Arizona Cardinals’ new uniforms are thus a blend of both traditional and modern looks, which is adding a fresh wave of excitement to the season ahead.
