Micah Parsons might want to play for the Steelers

Every NFL player has an unsaid goal in their heart: to play for their hometown team. However, in Parsons’ situation, the dream is slightly different. For those who don’t know, jersey number 11 is from Harrisburg, PA. And, while there is no team from Pennsylvania, Micah believes that the team closest to his home can be considered his hometown team.

Micah Parsons in an interview session with former Steelers cornerback Bryant McFadden at Super Bowl media where he revealed all these things. The man claimed, “I said if I ever returned home, it was going to Pittsburgh.” Interestingly, there is another twist to this important story. Pittsburgh is 205 miles from Pennsylvania, but do you know of another NFL city that is considerably closer to Parsons’ hometown?

The team in question is the Philadelphia Eagles, who are playing in the Super Bowl this year. In the interview, Micah Parsons never declared that he would not play for the Eagles. However, based on his response, it may be surmised that the individual leans more towards the Steelers. Now, that’s quite interesting. So, whatever occurs, it will most likely occur this year. But will Parsons actually leave his team?

Are the Cowboys releasing Parsons

Jerry Jones has once again become the source of all these rumors and speculations. Man! He cannot let simple things go. The man is infamous for creating this type of frenzy around players by delaying their next contract. He did the same thing with Dak Prescott, and well that situation did not go well. The team offered Prescott a hefty $240 million contract, but the QB got injured. However, it appears that Jones has not learned from the mistake and may do the same with Parsons. Although no specific source has claimed this, there is a good chance that Micah Parsons gets his contract delayed.

While this is mere speculation, recent reports about Parsons suggest that he is about to be re-signed or traded. Brandon Loree reported, “While there have been no trade talks, sources say there have at least been some internal discussions about whether to pay Parsons or trade him for a king’s ransom. If the Cowboys are willing to listen, they may get it.”

Will the Cowboys release a player of such high caliber? And if they do, what will be Parsons’ next stop? Stay tuned to find all of these items in the future.
