Although the quarterback had only signed a one-year contract with the team, he has seemingly decided to go all in. With the 31-year-old and his wife having just shifted to Pittsburgh, they even took it upon themselves to give back to the community by supporting other Pittsburgh-based teams like the Penguins, the Pirates, and more.
In fact, the quarterback even took things a step further and celebrated the city’ biggest day, 412 Day in the most surprising way. While the holiday might not be known to many people, it has been a big deal for the people of Pittsburgh for years. It pays tribute to the city’s area code. With Wilson participating in the city’s traditions, he may have proved that the Steelers would be the team that he could settle in!
