You could be wondering why it is uncertain. To find that answer, you need to dig deep into his reworked contract with the Texans. When Houston acquired him by sending a second-round pick in 2025, they wanted him to make an instant impact. So the Texans gave Diggs a one-year contract with $22.52M guaranteed.

This means he will hit unrestricted free agency next season. And considering he didn’t manage to live up to his contract in Houston. The Texans might not keep Diggs on board. So the Texans WR is preparing to visit his team’s final home game this season. As per his interview with Good Morning Football, Diggs plans to go to Houston for the Christmas Day game vs Ravens. That could be the final time Houston could witness Diggs not on the gridiron but on the sidelines cheering for his team.
