When Taylor Swift changed the lyrics of her song to pay tribute to Travis Kelce, the entire crowd screamed with frenzy. The lyrics were supposed to be “Karma is the guy on the screen, coming home straight to me.” She substituted “screen” with “Chiefs”, referring to Kelce who plays as TE on the Kansas City Chiefs. Travis seemed blown away and hid his face in his palms for a few moments before grooving to the song. Now that he is back home, was his reaction spontaneous or did he know about it?

In addition to that, the Kelce brothers also discussed Jason Kelce’s People magazine feature and how Kylie reacted to it. The latest episode of the New Heights podcast was power-packed with glimpses into the budding relationship between Travis and his beau, Taylor Swift.

Travis Kelce might have had an idea that she was going to do it

Jason Kelce shot at his brother, “How does it feel to officially be the guy on the Chiefs?” Travis giggled and said, “You mean Karma?” He then revealed that although his reaction showed that he wasn’t expecting it, he actually knew all along. “I had no clue… might’ve had a little bit of a clue,” he said sheepishly. “Still shocked me,” he clarified. The entire stadium went red, which is the Chiefs’ color, when she sang the changed lyrics.

Jason felt bad for Papa Swift who tried to high-five Kelce, but Kelce was too overwhelmed with emotions to notice. “Sorry, big guy,” he said on the show and virtually high-fived his girlfriend’s father. But during the concert, Philadelphia Eagles fans noticed something was amiss. Scott Swift, who had spent a big part of his life in Philadelphia, was wearing a Chiefs lanyard.

Scott Swift switches allegiances days ahead of showdown

The Eagles vs. Chiefs showdown is set to take place on November 20. It will be a Super Bowl LVII rematch and while the Swifts were rooting for the Eagles last year, this time around they might be rooting for their rivals. On every Chiefs game that Swift attended, she was spotted wearing a Chiefs jersey. And now her father was wearing a Chiefs lanyard. This does not bode well for the Eagles fanbase. But not all is bad for Philly.

The Eagles’ Center, Jason Kelce, was recently picked by People magazine to feature on the list of “Sexiest Man Alive”. Kelce finished sixth. When Travis asked him how Kylie felt about it, he said, “For Kylie, and the rest of the world, it was just obvious.” Both of them giggled. Now the two brothers are set to face off against each other on November 20. Which one of them will triumph over the other? Only time will tell.
