As the Chiefs gear up for Super Bowl LVIII, they have made a significant change to their IR. The team has decided to activate Jerick McKinnon from the IR. Previously, a groin injury sidelined him, but now, they have activated him to play. This move is critical, enhancing the Chiefs’ offensive options.

Concurrently, Joe Thuney’s absence has led to Nick Allegretti stepping up to fill the void for a second consecutive game. Thuney is an instrumental figure on the offensive line and is sidelined due to a pectoral injury incurred during the divisional playoffs. This isn’t the only concern; the sidelining of Prince Tega Wanogho further compounds the situation. Of course, he is another valuable offensive lineman sidelined because of a quad injury.
