The Chiefs had a season with some ups and downs, especially with their offense not performing as expected. Despite this, they secured 8 consecutive division championships by winning a crucial game against the Bengals with a score of 25-17. Kicker Harrison Butker had a great day, making all six of his field goal attempts.
QB Patrick Mahomes threw for 245 yards and a touchdown, and Isiah Pacheco had a career-best 130 rushing yards. The Bengals initially led by 10 points, but the Chiefs made a comeback. Furthermore, Cincinnati had the chance to turn things around late in the game, but the Chiefs’ defense, with back-to-back sacks by Chris Jones and George Karlaftis, sealed the win for KC, helping them to secure the number 3 seed for the playoffs.
