Tee Higgins‘ trade story has taken a dramatic turn. Many fans know that the WR can be an excellent asset to any squad. Which is why this trade is really hyped up. The Bengals have been looking to trade him for over a year now and it seems like Higgins’ talent has attracted another team for this trade. The man is great on the field, which is why the Patriots have a keen eye on him. But is this trade actually going to happen?

Well, let’s just say that there is some good news for Patriots fans. According to insiders, this trade will most likely take place during the next offseason. More than that, the deal is currently a “done deal”, and numerous rumors have verified it. The Patriots want Tee Higgins to be their primary wide receiver, complementing their rookie quarterback Drake Maye.

Drake Maye has great potential and is gradually but steadily gaining momentum. He would also benefit from having a good wide receiver at the moment and the Patriots are somewhere lacking it. Due to the fact that they are practically out of the playoffs, this trade will occur during the offseason. And there is a significant likelihood that Tee Higgins will appear in Patriots Camp come 2025.

Furthermore, other reports indicate that this trade was about to take place during the 2024 offseason. However, due to rental money concerns, the Bengals elected to do it during next year’s offseason. Assuming the trade had occurred, the Bengals would have lost $26.2 million, per Jeremy Fowler.

While all of this sounds intriguing, it is far in the future. Right now, the man is suffering from a brutal injury and has missed the last three weeks. But is the man coming back next week?

Is Tee Higgins set to return in week 11?

Well, looking at his injury Bengals will be without their main wide receiver once more. This is really disappointing given that Tee Higgins has only played five games this season in ten weeks. And now it will be six after week 11. The man damaged his quad in a practice session on October 25. And since then he has missed three consecutive games. Actually, it is going to be four consecutive games after week 11.

The HC Zac Taylor has explained how the team has been affected by the WR’s absence. He stated in a media appearance, “Walkthrough is pretty easy to participate in, so I wouldn’t read too much into that. We’ll get to Wednesday and see where it’s at.”

Taylor even suggested that Tee Higgins is being checked on a daily basis. And given his current condition, there is a good likelihood that the WR will return in Week 12. It will be interesting to see this return, which is highly awaited. Furthermore, the team will face the Steelers during that week, which will be the icing on top of this return.
