Terrel Bernard: an unanticipated find for the Bills
When Tremaine Edmunds left the Bills and joined the Chicago Bears, it left a big hole to fill in Bill’s defensive line. Mainstay LB Matt Milano handled the responsibility well but his week 5 injury raised even more concerns. He fractured his right leg, leading to concerns surrounding the Bills’ defensive side.
In the absence of other key defensive players, the Bills found the right replacement in the form of LB Terrel Bernard. 24-year-old Bernard has been the find of the season, with him having 143 total tackles this season to his name, 84 of which fall under solo tackles. He also has recovered 3 fumbles in the season, making him a valuable player for the Bills during important moments. His latest injury can become a major concern if the Bills advance to the Divisional round.
