An action-packed thriller was promised for Sunday afternoon. A game that is monumental to both the Denver Broncos and the Houston Texans. So far, the game has delivered. But for the phenomenal rookie quarterback CJ Stroud, it turned out to be horrifying.

For both teams, the playoff race is alive and viable. This game has the potential to switch up the momentum, though. Even though the Texans did come out on top. An injury to their star QB was not supposed to be on the books.

CJ Stroud: Needed in the squad 

The 22-year-old has displayed wisdom beyond his years on the field so far. But in this game, he suffered an injury in the fourth quarter during a pileup. Hence, backup QB Davis Mills was forced to take his place on the field.

The Texans, however, have shown their grit in this game. But they need their ‘Rookie of the Year’ bound QB in the team to make it to playoffs and beyond.
