The Titans quarterback room looked too good this offseason. The battle of the third-year QB competing against the No. 1 overall pick is one that sparked massive interest from the fans. If you need any more convincing, the Titans’ No. 9 offseason effort is for you. He spent much time working out with one of the best quarterback coaches, Jordan Palmer, in California. After starting 21 games in two seasons for the Titans, there was much hope for Will Levis to show an impressive performance this season. However, the QB’s recent injury dashed all the hopes as he recently gave a scary injury update.

We support his decision to focus on his long-term health. He approached the offseason with professionalism and showed clear growth as a leader. Before that, he had been putting in all the work at the OTAs, minicamp, and more. However, as shared, the franchise showed support for the Titans’ Star. Just recently, Levis shared a picture of his shoulder on his IG story. His shoulder appeared quite swollen. “Last night with this lil guy,” he wrote across the image. Speaking of Levis’s decision, the trouble hit back in 2024.

Levis injured his shoulder back in the Week 4 game against the Miami Dolphins, just before the bye week. But the QB drafted by the Titans back in 2023 rested and returned for action just at the right time. Unfortunately, the injury lingered and eventually sidelined him for three weeks.

When he returned, the expectations were high for the star to show his best. However, his performance wasn’t up to par. It hit a low point, and he was benched after he had four turnovers in a game against the Cincinnati Bengals, leading to his benching. It was shocking for the Titans# 9, who had become the starter midway through his rookie year and was headed into 2024 as the face of the Titans’ rebuild.

But as seen, things didn’t go as planned. He threw 12 interceptions, lost 10 fumbles, and was sacked 41 times in just 12 games. After a troubled season, the Titans moved on, taking Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 draft. However, Levis was going to be part of the roster. I wish him a speedy recovery,” Ward told the reporters as per The Tennessean. His confidence has been gaining praise from veterans right from the day he joined the Titans. Many had even shared their expectations of him to be in the starter position.

He added that the quarterback will remain there for a little while as he rehabs from the procedure.
