He excitedly recalled a game against the Patriots in 2012 when he played for the Seattle Seahawks. Wilson expressed, “I think 2018 through 2020 really my rookie year, there was a moment that I figured out that I was ready.” He stemmed this phase from the support of two incidents, “I think it was two moments number one when we played the New England Patriots in Seattle, Tom’s top of his career.”

He was like a father figure to me.” He recalled his recent visit in Carroll’s farewell party, as the 72-year-old was released in January this year.

Wilson added, “To me, going back to see Pete was because of the love that was there. I got no hate in my heart. Just love. Just love in my heart.” This statement by Wilson is evident from the fact that the quarterback recently revealed a secret of their continuous strong bond. Wilson admitted that Carroll kept texting him regularly to check on him throughout his 2023 campaign with the Broncos.
