Tommy DeVito has garnered significant attention not only for his impressive selection as the New York Giants’ quarterback but also for his unique living situation. The undrafted rookie finds this arrangement highly convenient, noting, “It takes me 12 minutes to get here,” referring to his commute to MetLife Stadium.
Tommy’s parents, Tom and Alexandra DeVito, have played a pivotal role in his journey. His father, who works in the plumbing and heating business, once juggled 100-hour work weeks to support the family. Father DeVito proudly remarked, “Tommy was born to do this… Tommy’s been training for this since he was 5 years old”.
The DeVito family has embraced the Giants’ player’s success, hosting notable events such as a tailgate at MetLife Stadiums featuring Italian cuisine, including Alexandra’s famous chicken cutlet sandwiches, before a Giants-Packers game. His brother, Max, also played football, though for different schools. Tommy attended Don Bosco Prep, Syracuse, and Illinois, while Max played for Cedar Grove and Salve Regina University.

Tommy DeVito started six games, achieving a commendable 3-3 record. Despite a crucial benching against the Philadelphia Eagles, his resilience remains unwavering.
Now, as the 2024 NFL season looms, DeVito eagerly anticipates another shot at leading the Giants’ offense. With competition from Daniel Jones and Drew Lock, he faces a challenging yet promising phase in his career.
