Another win for Travis Kelce after his Super Bowl LVIII ring! For the Kelce brothers, Travis and Jason, this year has been an incredible one due to the multiple accolades they have received. On February 11, the Kansas City Chiefs won their second consecutive Super Bowl, and the brothers celebrated the big day in the Las Vegas nightclub.

After the SB title celebration for the Chiefs, the brothers received recognition and twin bobbleheads from the native state of Cleveland. The brothers arrived at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse shortly after 7 p.m. on the previous week’s Tuesday night, where they were honored with bobbleheads and a framed Cavs jersey for Jason. And now, it was time to honor their popular podcast “New Heights.”

The 2024 iHeartPodcast Awards, sponsored by The Hartford, celebrated some of the most popular podcasts globally. On Monday, March 11, the awards ceremony took place live at the Fairmont Hotel in Austin, Texas, as part of the SXSW Conference and Festivals. The event acknowledged the contributions of creators, organizations, and others in the podcast industry. Fans were particularly excited to learn the Podcast of the Year winner, voted upon last month. And to everyone’s delight, the NFL fans’ beloved “New Heights” of Travis and Jason Kelce won the prestigious award.

Celebrating the update and thanking their viewers, fans, and “Swifties,” Travis said, “Well, we wish we could be there, guys, but we are honored. We are honored to accept this award podcast of the year. It’s big…..Thank you guys for everything. And we truly do have the best fan base in the entire world. Thank you guys for voting every single day of every single month and every hour that day.

Chiming in, Jason expressed, “This is an incredible honor, especially for two jabronis like us to receive an award like this is beyond humbling and we would be remiss if we didn’t immediately think all of the 92% is out there in case Swifties with these who voted for us to win this award.” Jason also emphasized that they love “making this podcast each and every week and it is beyond rewarding when you get to find out that it resonates with so many people out there and that they get joy out of it because we sure put a lot of that into it.”

However, as they won the Podcast of the Year, the brothers lost to Shannon Sharpe in another category. Sharpe’s podcast “Club Shay Shay” was nominated, along with New Heights and others, for the Best Sports Podcast award. Sharpe defeated the Kelce brothers in this category. Nevertheless, the Kelce brothers and their fans might be happy to win the top award of the ceremony.
