Travis Kelce Beats Jerry Rice’s All-Time Record For Playoff Catches In A Dominant First Half vs. Ravens

Travis Kelce has proved once again that he’s one of the best TEs out there! In a much-anticipated move, the Kansas City Chiefs’ superstar has taken over legendary wide receiver Jerry Rice. As the Chiefs’ are going strong against the Baltimore Ravens, it seems Kelce has another record to add to his playbook. The 34-year-old has surpassed Rice’s playoff record for receiving catches with 152 catches.

Rice hung up his cleats with an exceptional postseason record of 2,245 yards and 22 TDs with 151 catches to his name. And even though the Chief’s TE is not close to his other stats, he for sure has more catches than Rice now. It might be not so surprising that the TE is also the closest players to Rice’s postseason stats. So if someone can get ahead of the legendary WR in yards and TDs, it will be Kelce himself. However, the TE won’t be beating those this year, as he only has 1,619 yards and 16 TDs in postseason so far.

As if this isn’t a good enough reason to celebrate, the Chiefs’ are leading the Baltimore Ravens in an unexpected game. With 2 TDs to their name, the Ravens are lagging with only one TD. If things keep going the way they’re going right now, the Chiefs will be heading to the Super Bowl for the 6th time.
