On the one hand, the Chiefs fans expect nothing but a top-tier performance from the tight end; on the other, Swfities expects Travis to be the best boyfriend Taylor Swift has ever had. One thing is sure: it’s hard maintaining two personas when your life is so publicized.

George Kittle had to take his time to come to terms with the fact that Travis Kelce was handling his life with poise. He said that he couldn’t “grasp” his head around the whole situation. Not to say that Kittle isn’t famous, but it’s safe to say he could learn something from this Kansas City great.

Kittle took the podium on the Super Bowl opening night and was confronted with a burning question of what he thought about Travis Kelce handling his football career and his love life with Taylor Swift. His response was reminiscent of the Druski meme, “What do you mean by that?” asked Kittle, seeking clarification from the reporter.

Kittle’s response was as diplomatic as it could be. He mentioned how, to a layman, his season might be in shambles, but the game tapes tell a different story. For a while, Kelce fell off, but as soon as the postseason began, the Chiefs TE was back in his natural form. The 49ers TE addressed that the Kelce-Swift relationship might distract some, but in the end, Travis handles it as best he can.

“Travis is a mature man; he knows how to handle his business. And I think he puts football over everything, so, I think you can just tell he is playing the Super Bowl, he obviously knows how to handle anything going on off the field.” He added that he would probably hang out with him over a beer and seek advice on handling his multifaceted lifestyle.

Football has ample space in Kelce’s heart. But he is trying his best to manage his personal life and football. He is taking things as they come. A couple of months ago, E! Online mentioned this about Kelce.

“We’re learning with the paparazzi just taking photos all over the place,” Kelce said. “At the same time, it comes with it. You’ve got a lot of people that care about Taylor, and for good reason.” However, he thinks he’s balanced his personal and professional lives.

“Just got to keep living and learning and enjoying the moments,” he continued. “At the end of the day, I’ve always been pretty good about compartmentalizing and staying focused in this building. I’ll just keep rolling with that.”
