Tori Evans, a professional dancer who performed with Taylor Swift during the Eras Tour, attended Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding. She shared her look in an Instagram reel, which pictured her in a nearly white outfit. The reel gathered a lot of attention, but for all the wrong reasons.

“Too close to white babe,” one user commented. Many more shared the same thought in the comments section, because Evans seemed to have violated the one rule you’re not supposed to. You don’t wear white to the wedding, because it’s the bride’s color. But her husband, actor TJ Shaw, stepped in to defend Evans from the backlash.

“DRESS IS PINK CHAMPAGNE color for everyone that doesn’t understand lighting,” she said.

Now that bridal styles have evolved, even extremely light colors like the one Evans wore have become shades brides might choose. Champagne, off-white, and beige are considered no-goes for female guests, too. Some brides might not be bothered by the overlap, but it’s enough to get people to talk.

Coming to the bride, we still don’t have any glimpses of what Taylor Swift wore on her special day. We know from the official statement that she and Travis Kelce wore Christian Dior outfits designed by Jonathan Anderson. The maison confirmed that they were designed at the label’s ateliers at 30 Avenue Montaigne in Paris.

“It’s an emotional thing doing someone’s wedding,” Anderson told WWD.

A source told PEOPLE that Swift’s dress featured a “long veil and train.”

Christian Louboutin adorned the couple’s feet, while Swift also wore Cartier. A representative for Dior told the New York Times that Swift is expected to reveal her bridal look online.

Fans have otherwise been throwing in their guesses about what Swift could have worn. Recently, Anderson showcased the 2026 Fall/Winter Haute Couture collection and featured a chiffon bridal gown, which had fans put their detective caps on again. However, it’s only a matter of time before Swift posts the much-awaited picture.

The guests did not disappoint either. To attend the wedding of the year, attendees came dressed to the nines. Jennifer Lopez wore a black Bach Mai dress. According to Harper’s Bazaar, Selena Gomez wore two Oscar de la Renta gowns to the occasion. Pink was also a popular theme among guests, with Gigi Hadid, Griff, and others opting for the color.

According to PEOPLE, Swift and Kelce went with a “whimsical” garden theme.

The wedding was nothing short of a party. Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks entertained the guests, and Adam Sandler took on officiating duties. Reportedly, the actor also performed an original song for the couple and gave them very important advice.

“Just keep kissing,” he’d said, according to Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.

There are also rumors of Swift performing. From what guests have been sharing online, the Taylor-Travis wedding was an event that could not be missed. Guests were seen leaving the venue as late as 1 am the next day!
