In June this year, Trevor Lawrence signed a 5-year, $275 million contract extension with Jacksonville Jaguars. He is now the highest-paid player (alongside Joe Burrow) in NFL history. He had dreamed of such riches since childhood. The only ones who believed him were his family. His father, Jeremy Lawrence, and mother, Amanda, were athletes during their younger days. The children seem to have inherited those genes. The couple had 3 children: eldest son, Chase, Trevor, and youngest sister, Olivia. Among the three, Olivia is following the NFL star’s path while Chase is on his separate career path.

Trevor’s big brother was attracted to art since childhood. He also played Tee-ball and basketball while growing up, but ultimately realized sports weren’t for him. Chase later attended Kennesaw State University where he met his wife Brooke. Both of them operate an art studio out of their home. Though the elder brother didn’t play sports himself, he made sure that the younger one always had family support with them. Hence, when Trevor started playing for the senior team, Chase attended every game. The brotherly bond is great.

Their sister is equally amazing. Trevor and Olivia have an age gap of 11 years. Hence, he has played plenty of sports while she takes her elementary steps. An avid volleyball player, Olivia joined the 575 volleyball program before graduating from Trevor’s alma mater, Carterville High School. Her friends like her affinity for fitness and maths. When she passed out in 2021, she was also a cheerleader.

The quarterback also needs his family. His love for them can be seen in his Instagram posts. When Chase graduated in 2017, Trevor wished him luck by posting a photo of three siblings. However, next year, when the QB got selected for Clemson Tigers, he expressed his feelings in an Instagram post with the caption, “Missing the fam right about now.

Trevor Lawrence’s Elder Brother’s Gift

The QB posted a video on his Instagram which showed him with his family members. In the video, they can be seen watching the 2021 NFL draft when Jaguars drafted him. Trevor is talking on the call while other members try to hear. In that video, you can see young Olivia looking at her brother’s face and feeling happy about his success. But Chase is missing in that video. We can say that he might have been busy with his work so, he might have forgotten about his brother’s achievement. But that’s not the case.

While Chase is not in that video, he knows everything that his younger brother values. And he showed it by giving him a particular gift, a Jaguar painting. Chase and Brooke worked secretly on the painting and gifted it to them (Trev) on his 2nd marriage anniversary. While the artist mentioned that the painting is relevant to Trevor, we know it’s the team he is playing for. For playing in the biggest football league in the US, Chase aptly named ‘Between Worlds.’

Apart from his parents and siblings, Trevor cares for his wife, Marissa Mowry, deeply. Do you think family support helps an athlete to achieve big things in the game? It has certainly helped Trevor Lawrence. You can share your views in the comments.
