Blevins’ journey from offense to defense and his achievements, including earning the Iron Bearcat award, demonstrate his exceptional adaptability and leadership in his studies of criminal justice. Chris Dawson, Brandon Landry, and Travis were also there to hand over the scholarship to Ben along with Jason.

Jason later expressed gratitude in a post on X and congratulated Ben, “This was such a special moment to be a part of, truly honored. Thank you @walk_ons and @drewbrees and congratulations to Ben.”

The scholarship is part of a series established to honor Jason’s remarkable 13-year NFL career, which began with his days as a college walk-on. Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux, in paying homage to Jason’s journey, aims to spotlight the perseverance and dedication of walk-on athletes and all they endure.

The ceremony took place during a special live meeting of the University of Cincinnati Football team, before the New Heights Podcast presentation event. The Kelce brothers, who co-host the show, were not only there to present the scholarship but also received their diplomas in a surprise commencement ceremony held at the university.

Their parents, Donna and Ed Kelce were present to witness this special moment. As per the People, the university shared the excitement on social media, describing it as a “surprise commencement we’ll never forget.” Both brothers had earned their degrees in 2022 but had missed their commencement ceremonies. This time, they celebrated with a touch of beer and their parents’ proud smiles.

Dan Hoard, the radio voice of Cincinnati Bengals and the University of Cincinnati, captured the moment in a tweet, saying, “Receiving a diploma… Travis Kelce style,” along with a video of the ceremony.

In April 2024, he made a surprise appearance at WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia, bringing excitement and energy to the event alongside Eagles’ offensive tackle Lane Johnson.
