In the latest edition of The Colin Cowherd Show, the 60-year-old picked the Ravens and listed his reasons. At first, he addressed the Ravens’ offense: “First of all, the Ravens have the number-one rushing offense.” He added, “won’t be totally reliant on Lamar.” Cowherd further acknowledged the Ravens’ defensive prowess next and stated, “They are the first team in league history to be number one in scoring defense, lead in takeaways and sacks in the same season.” Then he went on to predict the result: “28-20, the Ravens win.” But first, he shed light on the Ravens’ better defense and Lamar Jackson’s perfect stats.

Colin Cowherd appreciated the Ravens’ performance at home and pointed out the key factor: “At home, they averaged 35 a game in eight games and against many playoff-level teams.” He provided the Ravens’ defensive stats in the playoffs and compared them with the Chiefs: “The Ravens defense only allowed 49 snaps against the Texans, fewest by any team in the round. They are well rested. The Chiefs played 78 snaps against the Bills. Kansas City’s defense, most snaps they had to play in the divisional round.”
