Dolphins star Tyreek Hill is notching up his business acumen beyond the fields! Cheetah gave a lackluster performance on the field against the 49ers, despite the Dolphins’ 29–17 victory. And, it seems that it has prompted Hill to pivot his focus toward yet another lucrative industry. Well, his ardent fans know of his love for fashion. Owing to this, he is also focusing on growing his Soul Runner brand.

Stepping more seriously into the $1.79 trillion global apparel market, Tyreek Hill is all set to expand his footprint. He shared a clip of people in action organizing the merchandise, on his IG story. Tagging his brand, he captioned the story, “@soulrunner store opening tomorrow in Aventura mall beside Bloomingdale’s.”

Behind this is his philosophy, ‘Keep your spirit in motion,‘ as he has mentioned on the brand’s site. Explaining the ethos of the brand in an interview he gave in August 2022, he remarked, “The choices one makes in the face of adversity – either running away from fear or running towards a new goal.”

Dolphins‘ star WR, Tyreek Hill further added, “I’m still ‘Soul Running.’ It never ends.” Expanding his venture in the $1.79 trillion global apparel industry, accounting for 1.63% of the world’s GDP, Hill has immense growth potential. He is ready to capitalize on it, as this industry is expected to reach $2 trillion by 2028. Soul Runner has a wide range of products available, including shorts, tees, hoodies, and youth apparel.

Hill’s move to grow his business took speed amidst his not-so-impressive performance against the 49ers. And he was quick to reflect upon the poor show after the game.

Hill addressed his disappointing performance against the 49ers

The week 16 matchup between the Dolphins and the 49ers was disappointing for Hill. The WR managed to secure only 29 yards on three receptions, and a touchdown. There was a significant dip in his performance due to uncharacteristic drops.

This included a critical third-down pass on the opening drive while missing an opportunity for a potential 70-yard touchdown. Hill was also critical of his performance in a self-observatory manner. He remarked, “I completely blame myself for not getting my head around and not seeing the ball because if I see a ball, we’re talking cross-court, 70-yard touchdown.” That’s honest.

Talking of his struggles, he added that it was due to the lack of practice reps with QB Tua Tagovailoa, along with the extended rest days due to a wrist injury. Even Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel was supportive of him, as he added, “There’s always pros and cons with any sort of rest… You hate for guys to feel like they’re not properly tooled in any sort of situation,” as mentioned in the same article.

However, just like the ethos of his brand, Hill is still ‘soul running’ to improve both his performance on the field and off-field ventures.
