Tyreek Hill had us all doing a double take with a heartfelt post on his Instagram story—an emotional tribute to his folks.

Hill put up a story hugging his mom and dad, both donning his Miami jersey on-field. Captioned simply, “Mom & Dad post ❤️,” it was a sweet moment. With the Dolphins’ WR status uncertain for Sunday’s face-off against Arizona, it’s not just the Cheetah’s inner circle showing love—we’re all watching if he’d actually suit up.

Miami’s got some good news, though. Tua Tagovailoa’s back. But if Hill’s lingering foot injury sidelines him, it could complicate stuff. On Friday, the 30-year-old’s absence during the open practice session, following his limited participation on Thursday, certainly ain’t the reassurance the Phins hoped for.

Moving on from that, Hill did make an appearance on social media during practice—not to update fans on his condition, but to congratulate ex-teammate Demarcus Robinson on his two TDs with the Rams. This low-key activity didn’t exactly ease our worries.

HC Mike McDaniel did offer a hopeful outlook. “I’m feeling good… optimistic and feel good about where they’re at,” he said. But as game time approaches, we know that a final call could go either way.

Should the Cheetah sit out, it’d put added pressure on Tagovailoa’s return. Still, Miami’s Week 15 romp over the Jets last December—where Tagovailoa logged a 119.4 passer rating without Hill—proves they have potential in a pinch. And with Jaylen Waddle in the mix, Miami’s shown it can step up.

Bottom line? Whether or not Tyreek Hill hits the field on Sunday, fantasy owners and Phins fans alike are on edge. Trading for Hill in Week 8 could be a gamble—one that’ll pay off only if the WR’s back to his top form soon.

Should you trade for Tyreek Hill in Week 8?

If you’ve been waiting for Hill to blow up your fantasy scoreboard, Week 8 might just be IT. You see, Tagovailoa’s back. And now, the West Alabama standout looks poised for a serious comeback.

This pairing’s no joke—Hill finished as WR2 and WR3 in previous seasons—could start paying off big again, making this week an ideal time for fantasy managers to buy low on the Cheetah.

The Super Bowl LIV champ’s fantasy season’s been uncharacteristically slow—ranking just WR43 so far in 2024. Yes, it’s a stark contrast to his usual WR8-or-better rankings in six out of eight NFL seasons.

But without Tagovailoa, the Phins’ QB carousel’s been tough to overcome. However, in their one full game together this season, Hill’s performance as WR4 in Week 1 already showed what this duo can accomplish when in sync.

Overall, the Dolphins WR has a promising outlook for the rest of the season, assuming QB Tagovailoa stays healthy, making Hill a strong candidate for a second-half fantasy breakout.
