Tyreek Hill ducked me. He was genuinely scared,” IShowSpeed declared, throwing down the gauntlet like he was calling a two-minute drill. His challenge? A 40-yard dash against the NFL’s fastest man, with a playful twist: “Put your contract on the line.” Wow! He’s got B-lls of Steel, we can give him that.

Sure, Speed came close to beating Noah Lyles, the reigning fastest man in the world. But this isn’t track—we’re talking The Cheetah. And there’s a reason he earned that nickname on the gridiron. So, as you’d expect Hill wasn’t about to let that slide.

He clapped back on Instagram. “Bro, you gave Noah Lyles a chance to win $100k. Give me the same chance,” Hill said, clearly unimpressed. “I already know I’m faster than you, [so] why waste my time?” The confidence was dripping. But Hill also gave props to Speed’s hustle and the attention he was chasing. Still, the message was clear: “You’re not faster than me, kid.”

Then came the real challenge: Hill’s willing to race Speed—for $100k. But there’s a catch…and the cash of course. It’s gotta go to Tyreek’s foundation. Hill even tagged Speed, captioning his post with, “Let’s race.” The baton is in Speed’s court now.

Now, let’s put the metrics behind these words. At this point, we all know Tyreek Hill has clocked a top speed of 22.6 mph during a game, with a 40-yard dash time of 4.29 seconds. That’s why we started calling him Cheetah! I mean, that’s clearly scorch-the-turf fast. His ability to hit the afterburners and leave defenders in the dust is why he’s one of the most explosive players in the league.

Meanwhile, Speed isn’t exactly a slouch. Remember his 4.44-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Draft—while rocking foam runners? Yeah, not kidding! That’s what the official NFL social media team clocked. But are we really going bonkers over those 40-yard challenges? They are fun to watch, but not always the most accurate without lasers.

Don’t get us wrong we are not slewing Speed. HELL, NAAH! We are just saying those challenges aren’t exactly proof enough. These doubts are making this potential race even spicier. As for the numbers, the only one way to find out—is on the track.

If anything, Speed’s close-but-no-cigar finish against Noah Lyles was cold! He is quick, we can give him that. Even Hill didn’t shy away from pointing out (even if it was in his own style!).

Tyreek Hill takes a brutal dig at Noah Lyles

Alright, we’re officially in December, and you’d think the whole “Tyreek Hill vs. Noah Lyles” beef would’ve been put to rest by now, right? Think again…. It was a whole cat-and-mouse. You remember the whole thing kicked off back at the 2024 Paris Olympics, right? Hill challenged Noah Lyles to a 50-yard race. Days and weeks of back-and-forth shots, trash talk, but no actual race. Typical. But here we are in December, and Hill’s still throwing digs.

The latest? Hill’s not impressed with Lyles’ win against IShowSpeed in a 50-meter race. Lyles barely edged out the YouTuber, and Hill didn’t waste any time posting on X, “And track athletes think he gone beat me,” alongside some crying-laughing emojis. Ouch. Lyles fired back saying, “I’ll dance across the line on you too.”

Now, here’s where it gets interesting. Lyles may have won Olympic gold, but Tyreek’s not backing down. Remember back in August, when Hill said, “I wouldn’t beat him by a lot, but I would beat Noah Lyles”? Sounds like the Dolphins’ speedster is still feeling confident.

Of course, Lyles hasn’t let this go, either. Back in August, he responded to Hill’s challenge, saying, “I’m not here to do gimmicks. We can race, but it has to be legit.” Fast forward three months, and Lyles races Speed for $100k. No gimmicks? Looks like Lyles is bending his own rules here.

We don’t know if we are going to get Lyles v Hill anytime soon, the WR might race Speed sooner than that. But if we do get it, then it’d really be us getting to see them race before GTA VI!
